Flexible Load Carrier System

Last year, MIAS displayed the prototype of the Shuttle at LogiMAT - now it will go into production. Visually, the shuttle has not changed much, but the technology has been completly revised. And that was to marvel at live at LogiMAT. With the transparent Plexiglas cover, the shuttle insides were on display and pulled in crowds of interested onlookers.

"It is very important that this device not only be considered for new installations. It is also suitable for modernization or expansion of existing facilities. Anyhow, retrofit is one of our business segments." says CEO Dr. Johannes Fottner.  MIAS has long participated the market and found a growing customer interest in customized shuttle solutions.  This shuttle will be offered in a modular system which offers unique configuration options - from the complete solution, to individual assembling of the components sensors, electronics and control system (hardware and software).

The event held in Chicago and organized by the Material Handling Industry (MHI), is the US’s largest trade show for materials transport and logistics equipment, systems and technology. Over 700 providers from the materials transport and logistics sector showcase their products and services at this trade show – and the MIAS Group has been among this number since 2007!

With the American subsidiary now based in Charlotte, ProMat has now become an event practically on home turf for the MIAS Group.

MIAS at CeMAT Asia

CeMAT Asia

Since 2008, CeMAT Asia has been a firm fixture in the trade show diary of the MIAS Group. The Technical Managing Director of the MIAS Group Dr Johannes Fottner reports that “thankfully German expertise also has an excellent reputation in China”.

CeMAT Asia is only a stone’s throw away from the Chinese subsidiary with its sales department and own production site – ideal conditions for achieving successful business in the Chinese market.
